Uefa investigate Chelsea's plea to the Danish Referee

As was reported yesterday in the Danish press the Danish referee who managed the first leg of the Liverpool Chelsea quarter final Claus Bo Larsen has come out and spoken about a rather unsavoury incedent in a "safety" meeting. According to the Sporting Life the Danish referee had claimed a Chelsea official had said they would "not be so excited" if one of their players on a yellow card got another booking at a safety meeting. This is of course unheard of, Larsen himself said:

"I've never experienced anything like this," said Bo Larsen. "When we had a safety meeting on Wednesday morning, a representative from Chelsea said, 'Claus Bo, you should just remember that we have some players who have a yellow card already and we are not so excited if they get one again'."

This all follows John Terry's crying and bitching about receiving a yellow card for acting like a total mong and doing a running Zidane Head Charge on Liverpools goalkeeper - all be it an accident in the same way that a 2 year old may pick up a knife and stick it in someones leg. The man, the myth, the moron. He's out of the second leg and can go spend some much needed time looking after his mother.

It is thought Uefa will be investigating the possible indiscretion by Chelsea but it is doubtful any action will be taken.

Bottom line is, Chelsea beat Liverpool fairly and squarly in the first leg and it's going to take a mammoth effort for Liverpool to make it through to the Seims.
